Our designs combine functionality and appearance in the best possible way, making a positive contribution to the quality of the working or other environment. The product’s design is in harmony with the function for which it is intended, which makes our products flexible, adaptable and functional in use.
 
A professional team of product developers and designers at VDS are responsible for the development of our chairs and tables.
 
Krijn Hamelink, designer (born 1947, the Netherlands)
After completing his training at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam in 1969, Krijn Hamelink worked for design company Kho Liang Ie. Krijn has won numerous prizes and awards, including a Good Industrial Design award for various chairs. He has worked as a designer for VDS since 1 September 2002 and has been responsible for several successful designs, including the Quasi, Sari, Tapa and Ditto chairs and the Quote and Polo tables.
