History
VDS in Culemborg has designed and produced high-quality project furniture for businesses and institutions since 1946. VDS, originally a family business, was founded by Gijs and Leo van der Sluis.
As one of the designers, Gijs van der Sluis was jointly responsible for the development of the company. Several well-known and successful designs can be attributed to him, such as the 540 sofa.
